Creating an account at EVE Fleet Manager will allow you to manage a list of ships that your characters' can fly currently as well as a list of your plans for them in both the short and the long term.

Having done this, you can then join one or more fleets and help the fleet commanders and leadership in their aims to assemble as powerful and balanced fleets as possible.
